No, we didn’t make it that far. That’s Mather campground at Grand Canyon. Hopefully next time I pick it up we’ll make it to the Black Canyon too.

Gotcha... what a surprise— random campsites in the arid west look alike!! Shocker! Haha.... But DO check out the Black Canyon.... it’s un-fucking real... And (not unlike the Grand Canyon) make the trip to the North Rim.... way more primative/less touristas...

Awesome, thanks for the advice! I’ve wanted to get out there for years and driving a car that’s way too slow for interstates seems like a great excuse. I'll post a trip report if I get there.
